2 day (Weekend), 2-Person Kansas Hunt

Where: Southeast Kansas            

Hosts: Avery® Pro-Staffer/ Zink Calls Pro Staffer Kenny Thompson and Avery® Pro-Staffer Lance Ohnmacht

When: A weekend in December Subject to establishment of 2008-2009 Kansas Waterfowl Season.

Species: Mainly Mallards, some Pintails, Gadwalls, Teal, Wood Ducks.  Second day will depend on winner’s choice of a Goose hunt or shoot ducks a second day.

Notes: The sunflower state has been recognized for years as big buck country.  What most folks don’t know is Kansas also provides great opportunities to shoot migrating waterfowl.  With the surrounding lakes, watersheds and potholes, the area provides beautiful Greenheads and fat Canadian geese.  Finding birds to fill your strap is usually formidable.  Keeping your gun loaded is the tougher task.  The scenario of which the hunt will take place will depend on where the birds are feeding and roosting.  I will tell you, be prepared for any situation a pothole, the lake, the river, or the fields.  You will also have the opportunity to see some great dog work as Murph will be by our sides every step of the way.

You will be required to provide your own transportation to Iola, Kansas and pay for lodging as well.  During your 2 day hunt it will consist of you being picked up at your hotel and transported to our hunting area with Kenny and his trusty Black Lab Murph.
